2024 Pro Bono Awards

The CLS Pro Bono Awards are an annual tradition that bring together our pro bono volunteers, community partners, CLS staff, and committed sponsors of the work we do. Our annual event highlights our volunteer pro bono work throughout our 12-county service area during CLS’ Pro Bono Month and the National Pro Bono Week Celebration.

The goal of our Pro Bono Awards is to honor and recognize the work of our committed volunteers, and to raise awareness about the importance of pro bono work and encourage more lawyers and legal professionals to get involved in serving their communities. It also provides an opportunity to showcase the impact that pro bono work has on individuals, families, and communities in need of legal assistance.

Throughout the celebration, we share stories of our volunteer attorney experiences, highlight successful pro bono projects, and discuss ways to expand access to justice for underserved populations. The event serves as a reminder of the legal profession’s commitment to serving the public interest and promoting equal access to justice for all.
